Samuel S. Gray, Jr. is president and Chief Executive Officer of Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford (BGCH), the country’s first Boys & Girls Club organization. Gray is responsible for providing leadership for all aspects of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford, which annually provides youth in Hartford with quality out of school time programming. He believes that his journey as a club member to a youth development ambassador is a gift. He challenges youth to dream and exposes them to things they may not otherwise be exposed, to become productive, responsible, caring citizens in our community.

She is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and has experience in community partnership development, budget oversight and fundraising.
Suzette Debeatham-Brown is the Deputy Commissioner for Aging and Disability Services. She is a former Mayor of the town of Bloomfield. She has over 20 years of Municipal Leadership, Community Engagement and Human Services experience in non-profit, corporate, State, and religious organizations. She is skilled in administrative management with core competencies in budget oversight, grant management, negotiations, team leadership and program management.
Kerwin Low is the Associate Director of Engineering at Pratt & Whitney, leading the Acoustics & Aeromechanics group for commercial and military engine programs. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Syracuse University and has co-authored numerous publications on jet noise and fluid-structure interaction. A recipient of the National Society of Black Engineers’ Pioneer of the Year Golden Torch Award, Kerwin is a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and an active community leader recognized as a 2022 One Hundred Men of Color honoree.
Sonserae Cicero is the CEO and President of SHEBA Consulting LLC, where she provides strategic leadership, organizational development, and human resources expertise to small businesses and executive teams. She has over 20 years of experience in HR, labor relations, and business operations, holding leadership roles with Walgreens, DFA-Guida’s Dairy, TJX Companies, and more. Recognized by the NAACP as one of the 100 Most Influential People of Color in Connecticut, Sonserae also serves on multiple boards and is an active member of The Links, Inc., and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
